BizCom is looking for a skilled and motivated ASP.NET developer who can plan, manage, document, develop, debug and deploy websites and web applications using ASP.NET (C#), the 3.5 Framework and SQL Server 2008. Candidate must be comfortable managing multiple projects with evolving business requirements and aggressive release schedules.
Experience/Education: minimum 3 years of professional experience in website and web application development using ASP.NET and SQL Server technologies.
Daily Responsibilities
- Develop highly-available business websites using BizCom's proprietary Content Management System (we have designers...we just need you to code like the wind)
- Deploy, customize and manage online storefronts
- Customize/stylize SharePoint 2010 websites
- Provide support for existing customer websites and web applications
- Improve and enhance BizCom's CMS functionality
- Assist with requirements gathering and functional specifications creation
- Communicate directly with account managers for project planning/strategy and execution
What is Needed
- Expert knowledge of ASP.NET (C# and VB), ASP, AJAX, JQuery, JavaScript, HTML, DHTML, XHTML, CSS, XML/XSLT
- Experience with various ASP.NET based Content Management Systems
- Basic experience with SharePoint 2007/2010
- Experience writing SQL queries to parse thousands of records
- Solid understanding of online storefronts (the ability to deploy, customize and manage them)
- Must be familiar with the latest SEO/SEM techniques
- Photoshop experience
- Experience using Source Control (SourceSafe and Team Foundation Server)
- Excellent verbal and written skills are an absolute must
Other Requirements
- Candidate should expect to work normal business hours but be willing to work outside of normal business hours on occasion
- Must be able to work well independently and in a team environment
- A passion for new and emerging web technologies
