ASP.NET Web Developer

Overview: BizCom is looking for a highly-skilled and motivated ASP.NET .NET developer that can plan, manage, document, design, develop, test, debug, re-test and deploy highly-available, business critical web applications using ASP.NET (C#), the 3.5 Framework and SQL Server 2005. The ideal candidate will be an extremely proficient C#.NET web developer w/advanced SQL Server 2005 experience who is comfortable managing multiple projects with evolving business requirements and aggressive release schedules.

Skillset: DHTML, CSS, Advanced JavaScript, ASP, ASP.NET (C#), XML/XSLT, AJAX, SOAP, COM, SQL Server 2005 (DTS, SPROCS, SSiS, etc), 3.5 .NET Framework and IIS 6. Experience with the Microsoft Visual Studio 2007, Visual Studio Team System, Visual SourceSafe, SQL Server Management Studio and Visio. Experience with Adobe Photoshop is required.

Job Functions: Candidate will work with the project manager to gather and analyze project requirements and to create detailed project specifications from these requirements. He/she will ensure projects get developed to exact specifications and that each meets or exceeds industry standards and best practices throughout every phase of the project lifecycle. This position will succeed by ensuring projects are delivered on time, error-free and within budget.

Essential Requirements:

A passion for website design, web-based software development and related technologies.

Expert C#.NET web development skills.

Expert with Photoshop and experience with ImageReady and Flash.

Must know Agile development methodologies.

Experience with SharePoint customization is a huge plus.

Extensive experience designing, developing and optimizing SQL Server 2005 databases.

Comprehensive knowledge of concepts, principles, practices and procedures in professional software development.

The ability to coordinate and manage multiple projects throughout various phases of development.

A proven track record of delivering quality projects within very tight deadlines.

Strong problem solving skills (troubleshooting, debugging and analytical skills).

Strong programming and documentation skills are an absolute must.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Additional Requirements:

4-year college degree in relevant field or equivalent experience.

5-7 years of professional, provable web design and application development skillsutilizing Microsoft technologies.

Must be detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple projects while giving each the detailed attention required.

Fundamental understanding of project management in a web services environment.

The ability to work in a team setting.

A professional demeanor w/a high-degree of flexibility, responsiveness and self-direction.
